Nature has always been not only a source of inspiration for me, but also a language through which I can best express my feelings. In my paintings in recent years, I focus especially on flowers – their different shapes, color shades, and unique character.

My interest in art started in early childhood, influenced by my creative family environment. I graduated from Janis Rozentāls Art School and the Art Academy of Latvia. Now I spend much of my time in Spain, where I am inspired by its rich nature, light, and abundance of colors. Here I create works that combine northern sensitivity with the vitality of southern nature.

Visiting botanical gardens and private flower collections in different countries has become an important tradition for me. Each trip is a chance to discover new plants and flowers, and to learn about their unique shapes and colors. Through my art, I invite the viewer to pause for a moment, feel the beauty of nature, and take a beautiful journey into the world of flowers, where colors and emotions come together in one story.
